Congratulations to Blue Knights PEI 1 President Bush DUMVILLE. Bush was recently successful in his bid to enter provincial politics and is a newly elected Member of the Legistature. We are sure the newly elected representative will provide the same level of support to the province as he has done with Blue Knights PEI 1. All Funds raised will be donated to the Canadian National Institute for the Blind (CNIB) Computer Reader Program on PEI, Blue Knights PEI1 Charity.

Blue Knight Prince Edward Island Elections Election of Officers, Directors and other positions, shall be held every two years (odd numbered years) at the November General meeting of the Chapter. All members in an elected position shall serve a two (2) year term from January (even numbered year) through December (odd numbered year). The President shall announce the upcoming election of Officer and Directors at the August general meeting. The President shall call for all nomination ballots to be submitted prior to or at the September general meeting to a Director. Nominations from the floor at the meeting shall be accepted if the nominee is present to accept/decline the nomination or if the nominee has previously been notified and voiced acceptance of the nomination. No member can accept nomination for more than one position.

CONFEDERATION BRIDGE
The Confederation Bridge is 12.9 kms / 8 miles long and opened in June 1997. The bridge connects Borden-Carleton, PEI with Cape Jourimain, New Brunswick. The fee is sixteen dollars for Motorcycles and thirty eight dollars for 2 axle vehicles. It's free to get on to PEI, but, YOU HAVE TO PAY TO GET OFF!
